Why “grind” and “brew”?

Grinding your coffee beans freshly, means you get that great taste that the beans have been locking in. In fact, the best coffee flavour comes from the oils on the shells of the beans. The coffee really tastes great. With the Cuisinart DGB-900-BC, if you run out of whole beans, with the push of a button, you can use pre ground ones.

The 24 hour programmable clock enables you to enjoy a fresh pot of coffee in the morning, noon or even at night! Without remembering to put it on.

It comes with a double-wall insulated thermal carafe, so the coffee stays warm for about 8 hours without the need of electricity for the warming plate.

The coffee gets grinded right before the brewing with a built-in “burr grinder”. The “burr grinder” crushes the beans instead of chopping them, treating the beans properly. It will retain all of the great flavours of the beans.

The airtight 8 oz. bean hopper helps to lock in the freshness of the beans, as if it were still in its original packaging. If the oil’s of the beans are exposed to oxygen, it starts to degrade immediately.

The water filter removes any impurities out of the water like chlorine taste and odor. Clean water makes the coffee taste much better.

If you can’t wait for the brew to finish, all you have to do is to remove the carafe, and the brewing process will stop. Pour a cup, and put it back in the machine. The brewing process will then seamlessly continue!

Top Tip: If you use an external coffee grinder, grind your coffee as close to the brew time as possible, (if not immediately). With the Cuisinart Grind and Brew, it’s all automatic and mess free. Giving you the best, and most convenient results!
